Due to VIP guests that will be visiting the event - security will be extra tight. Any person who is not properly credentialed will be questioned and asked to leave the field.

While waiting for your game time, there are large areas of grass to warm-up your team outside of the locker rooms. Also, you will have 15 minutes to warm up on the field before your game. Please be ready to go before your specific game time.Ice for your water buckets will only be provided after you run out!We welcome you to come early or stay late to enjoy the festivities behind this event.Half times will be 20 minutes long.

Home Teams are being required to furnish a chain gang and announcer/spotter. Please let us know if this will be an issue. Also, let us know who will be the announcer/spotter in the press box so that they are properly credentialed. (NOTE: We have radio stations, video, music and media/reporters that will be crowded in the press box. Unauthorized personnel without proper passes will be asked to leave). NOTE: ALL CHAIN GANG AND ANNOUNCER/SPOTTERS ARE ASKED TO BE ON SITE AND READY TO GO 30 MINUTES BEFORE GAME TIME! MEET AT THE VOLUNTEER CENTER FOR PASSES!

There will be a Battle at the Capital TEAM PHOTO that will be taken before YOUR game. We hope to accomplish this before your pre-game warm-ups. This photo will commemorate your team’s historical involvement in the 2011 Battle at the Capital. We are planning to stage this photo in front of a Military Humvee mounted with a .50 Caliber Machine Gun (your head coach can possibly pose behind the gun), possibly a fire truck, and/or a staged flown in Chinook helicopter (we are still scheduling the props). It is our goal, during your game, to print the 11x17 photos with your team name, logo, and be available to take home with you. All this for a small donation purchase of $30.00. This photo will surely be a fantastic collector’s item (THE PARENTS AND FANS WILL LOVE IT!). Please come prepared and you don’t want to miss this! Please do not arrive late to your respected game or you can miss your window to take your photo. A schedule of tentative team photo times will be in a upcoming email.

Immediately following each game the coaches from each team will huddle and select a player who will achieve the Battle at the Capital – Character Award.
