Battle for Veterans thanks you for considering this sponsorship opportunity. We thank you on behalf of those who serve our country, their families, and the many volunteers donating countless hours to the battle on behalf of the veterans. The “Battle” team is a group of volunteers dedicated to support those wounded while serving our county. The Battle is in its 3rd year promoting events to raise awareness regarding veteran sacrifices and funding to support re‐entry to civilian life. 2011 included a golf tournament, Evening of Honor dinner with special military guest speakers, a military vendor fair with participants from each branch of the military, a 3‐day football festival matching up some of the best high school football programs in California, a Battle of the Badges game, and all ending with an Evening of Celebration. The Battle represents an opportunity for a community to honor those who have served – and in particular support those wounded while serving. There is no higher calling.

Battle for Veterans needs the support of the Enterprise Sponsor. This is a sponsor that helps sustain the business operation and provides funding for future growth – one that believes in the cause, the team, and understands the greater good. Next year 2012, Battle for Veterans is expanding to Southern California with back‐to‐back events. Plans are in place to reserve the Reagan Library for the Evening of Honor dinner with Westlake High School hosting the football festival and military vendor fair. This expansion represents a significant step forward reaching an even larger audience. The current teams under contract represent some of the premier high school football programs in the state – Del Oro, Granite Bay, Oaks Christian, and Westlake. Battle for Veterans changing the name from Battle at the Capital also represents another step forward in expanding the cause and branding.

Battle for Veterans is year round and will be exploring other athletic competitions and programs to promote awareness and support the veteran causes. Discussions have started to develop a Battle for Veterans Marathon. Other development plans include celebrity concerts and special character camps reaching out to the student athlete and coaches. This one‐of‐a‐kind program combines all branches of service supporting and participating. Battle for Veterans is intentionally designed to be enjoyed by all members of the community – the young, the old, those who have served, those wanting to serve.
